About Joe Abs
Joe Abs is a character created by the need and desire to woo a certain young lady. Being almost 50 years old at the time and her being nineteen (19) years younger, I knew I needed an 'edge' if I was going to be able to attract her long term.
A couple of months before I first asked out Stacia, an acquaintance told me that he knew how to get cut and show his abs. (I was wondering why he wouldn't join me for a happy hour cheeseburger with fries and a couple of drinks). He didn't tell me directly, but he did pique my curiosity enough to read a few books on the subject. Then I started a new nutrition regime that I came to know as my own version of Eating Clean. It was then I started developing the idea of the Clean Eating Live-It. After all, any benefits from a die-it are only temporary.
Being that I did not have a huge bank account or own a huge mansion, I for some unknown reason decided I would try to get abs and hope to turn her on enough for her to keep coming over and hanging out with me. Joe Abs was born and JoeAbs.com was purchased a few months later.
That was almost 4 years ago now. October 1st will be 4 years. A lot has happened since then. I started drinking green drinks. Went on the road selling and demonstrating Blendtec Blenders at Costco Roadshows all over California and then Oregon and Washington. Then I travelled all around the country selling and demonstrating Little Giant Ladders and accessories at the very best Costcos around the US.
My first smoothie book is on Amazon Kindle and it's called 33 Smoothie Recipes. I have a lot more recipes now and don't like to use much fruit in my drinks these days, but there are some really tasty smoothie recipes in the book and I think it's worth the $3.99
I'll be working on my newest recipe book very soon and it will be all vegetable drinks. As preparation for the book photos, I will also be re-starting a video series I started 2 or 3 years ago called Juicing Naked with Joe Abs. Watch for new videos by subscribing to the Joe Abs YouTube Channel. I promise the videos will get better and more entertaining.
